Inaugurated in September 2006, the brand new exhibition center of Roma is now one of the assets that make the Italian capital one of the major exhibition cities in the country and in Europe, for its size and accessibility, for the quality of the services offered.
Built in accordance with the most modern architectural and urban standards, the new Fiera Roma exhibition complex perfectly meets all kinds of exhibiting requirements, from basic needs to the diverse demands of events of large scale and massive participation.
The numbers
- 13 rectangular halls, single floored, free of bay pillars, perfectly cabled, air-conditioned, wi-fi equipped, each ranging from 5.580 to 10.765 sqm of gross exhibition surface;
- 120.000 sqm of total gross indoor exhibition space;
- 40.000 sqm of outdoor exhibition area;
- a Congress Center with rooms ranging from 50 to 570 seats, for a total receptive capacity of over 3.000;
- 1.100 outdoor parking lots within the exhibition center, plus another 7.300 outdoor parking lots, located in the areas adjacent to the complex;
- restaurants, bars, cash-point machines, medical center, newspaper and tobacco kiosks available;
- accommodation in over 5.000 rooms in 5, 4 and 3 star hotels available, within a distance of 5-10km from the exhibition center.
The location
International Airport: the exhibition center is only 5km from “Leonardo da Vinci”, 12 min by taxi, 6 min by train (two stops) through FR1 Regional Railway, departures every 15 min.
Motorway: with two lanes that run parallel to the Autostrada Roma Fiumicino, to and from the exhibition center, direct access is granted by car to the G.R.A. (the Grande Raccordo Anulare di Roma) connecting to the motorway network around Roma as well as to all the “consular” roads accessing the city.
Railway: the railroad FR1 allows simple and immediate connection through the exhibition center and city center, with dedicated stop "Fiera di Roma" for people coming from Fiumicino Airport and main city stations (Trastevere, Ostiense, Tiburtina).
